Next milestone in Julia Görges’ career: The German Fed Cup player is among the top ten players for the first time in the current WTA World Ranking.
Julia Görges has spent the winter as the best German player, after the Australian Open Angelique Kerber secured the pole position among the DTB aces again. It also remains in the WTA’s current world ranking list, where Kerber is in ninth place. As the newest member of the women’s tennis team Bel Etage, Görges, who moved into the semi-finals last week in St. Görges, is the new member. Petersburg played in tenth place in the charts for the first time.
