Hubertus Prinz zu Hohenlohe is actually known as a playboy and jet setter – and for taking part in a total of five Olympic Winter Games for Mexico. In Pyeongchang the 59-year-old is no longer active, but still wants to make headlines: with a song against Donald Trump.
Originally from the German aristocracy in Hohenlohe, but thanks to the fact that he was born in Mexico City, he has for decades been one of the few to present the Mexican colours at the Winter Olympics. This was not necessarily successful in the ski over decades. For headlines and fancy outfits he was always good.

He is now finally too old for the South Korean games and therefore only as part of the official delegation on site. Among other things, he took care of the Mexican athletes’ outfits. But he still has a project in his hands, he told USA Today:”I’m trying in a song to the idea that Trump wants to have a wall built between Mexico and the USA” The games are only about peace and about how much love we all have for each other. And then there’s this barbaric wall. So I wrote a song.”
The song Austin will be released on Friday, the day of the opening ceremony in Peyongchang.
