Fed Cup: 1:1 – Barbara Haas holds Austria in the running

Barbara Haas equalised the score in the relegation match against Georgia with a three-set win. The decision for class retention or relegation is now made in doubles.

Haas won after 2 hours 25 minutes against Ekaterine Gorgodze 7:6 (5), 2:6,6:3 and won the important 1:1 against Georgia. The first match of the day Julia Grabher had lost to Sofia Shapatava 3-6,6-4,4-6. The decision is therefore made in the final doubles (NOW in our live scores). Here Julia Grabher and Barbara Haas want to turn it against Oksana Kalashnikova/Sofia Shapatova.

The loser of the duel will be in Group II of the Europe/Africa Zone next year, with the winner remaining in Group I.
