ATP: Greetings from the gym: Djokovic sends positive signals

The ATP tour has to miss Novak Djokovic for a while. After an elbow surgery, the ex-number one is working hard on his comeback.

“I’m working hard on my comeback and thank you for your support,”the Serbian wrote under his instagram post. Djokovic can be seen training in the gym and seems to be almost fully operational.

After the Australian Open, the “Djoker” had to undergo surgery on his damaged elbow and has to pause again after the six-month break last year. But things didn’t go badly for the Serbian Down Under. Only in the last sixteen was Djokovic beaten by NextGen star Hyeon Chung and seemed visibly tired.

Djokovic had to cope with the strain and the long break took its toll. This time of suffering seems to be finally over “I have been playing with pain for several months now. I have to take care of that now,”explained the “Djoker” after the tournament in Melbourne and had to undergo the unloved intervention.

It can be seen that the twelve-time Grand Slam champion trains without a stocking on the right arm and obviously devotes himself to shadow tennis. This gives hope for a speedy recovery and an early return to the world tennis scene. Tennis fans around the globe can breathe a sigh of relief.
