Handball: EHF-Cup: Göppingen also wins third group game

Defending champion Frisch Auf Göppingen remains on course for the quarter-finals in the group stage of the EHF Cup. The team of coach Rolf Brack won the finnish champion Riihimäki Cocks 31:20 (14:12) and leads Group C with six points.

On the first two rounds, Göppingen won against Croatia’s RK Nexe (30-27) and Slovenia’s RD Koper (25-20). The two best teams from each group reach the quarter-finals.

The EHF Cup winner of the last two seasons did not fall behind for the entire duration of the match and dominated the game at will, especially in the second round.
