Ski Alpin: Second place again in the Super-G for Veith

As in the Super-G of Pyeongchang, Anna Veith finishes second in the first race after the Olympic Games. In the absence of gold medallist Ester Ledecka, Tina Weirather triumphed.

In the end, the Liechtensteiner has a lead of 36 hundredths of a second over Veith and passes Lara Gut, who finishes seventh in the Super G World Cup. This means that Weirather will be in the duel for Super-G crystal at the World Cup final with a lead of 37 points. Wendy Holdener completes the podium. Michelle Gisin and Federica Brignone finish fourth ex aequo (+0.51).

Christine Scheyer (6th), Stephanie Brunner (8th) and Cornelia Hütter (12th) ensure a very strong team result for the ÖSV ladies.
