ATP:”DelPo” stalks up, Zverev and Thiem remain stable

No changes at the absolute top of the ATP world ranking. The tournament winners of the past week are working their way forward.

Slowly but steadily, Juan Martin del Potro is working his way up to the top of the world: The Argentinean has made up a place after his success at the ATP World Tour 500 tournament in Acapulco as he has now swapped eighth place with his opponent Kevin Anderson in the final. The charts are still headed by Roger Federer, ahead of Rafael Nadal and Marin Cilic.

Alexander Zverev has approached fifth with the semi-final in Acapulco front man Grigor Dimitrov, Dominic Thiem confirmed with the round of the last eight in his score in Mexico. Thiem is still sixth.

Dubai champion Roberto Bautista Agut has again made it into the top 20, the Spaniard is in 16th place. Lucas Pouille, who was defeated by Bautista Agut in the final of Dubai, made up three places, but failed to make it into the top ten for the first time as currently twelfth. Fabio Fognini, on the other hand, made up for his success in Sao Paolo, and the Italian rider ranked 19th on the podium. Final loser Nicolas Jarry caught up twelve places and is now on 61st position. Position.

Philipp Kohlschreiber remains the second-best German in 37th place, Peter Gojowczyk has cracked the top 50, while Austria’s number two is in the hands of Gerald Melzer, who lost five positions last week, and is now in 114th place in the world.
