NFL: Carolina Panthers: Kicker Graham Gano extended for four years

The Carolina Panthers have signed a long-term contract with Kicker Graham Gano. The 30-year-old signed a four-year contract on Tuesday.

Gano will earn about $17 million from the Panthers. This makes him the second-best paid kicker in the league after Stephen Gostkowski of the New England Patriots (17.2 million dollars). This is reported by NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

The Panthers apparently had previously considered holding Gano via franchise day. The kicker secured his first Pro Bowl nomination last season after 29 of 30 successful field goal attempts.
