NCAA has published the bracket for the upcoming March Madness on Selection Sunday. The German hopeful Moritz Wagner and his Michigan Wolverines must first take on Montana.
68 teams will be fighting for the crown in college basketball starting next Tuesday. Initially, eight teams will be competing for their ticket to the “real” March Madness. It will then start with 64 teams on Thursday, the 15th. March.
Michigan is the winner of the Big Ten Tournament, where Wagner was voted Most Outstanding Player, and will automatically join the NCAA Tournament as a 3-Seed of the West Region. The first opponent for the Wolverines, who had a 27-7 record over the season, will be 14-seed Montana. Click here for the complete March Madness Bracket.
Michigan also won the Big Ten Tournament last year – at the NCAA Tournament we went all the way to the Sweet Sixteen, where, after a thriller against Oregon, it was the end of the line. This season, however, things are set to go even further. Wagner as the top scorer of the team (14.5 points, 7.1 rebounds on average) is in the spotlight.
Selected games of the March Madness will be broadcast at DAZN. The schedule will be announced in the coming days.
