Cross-country skiing: Paralympics: Lehmker and Ehler over 20 km in sixth and eighth place

Steffen Lehmker (Claustahl-Zellerfeld) and Alexander Ehler (Kirchzarten) clearly missed the medal ranks at the Paralympics in Pyeongchang for cross-country skiing over 20 km in the standing class. Lehmker (29) had to settle for sixth place at the race on Monday with a gap of 4:37.6 minutes to winner Igor Reptjuch (Ukraine). Ehler (48) was 5’53.5 “behind and finished eighth.

On Sunday, Andrea Eskau (Magdeburg) had won 12 km of cross-country skiing in the seated Silver class and the only medal for the German Association of Disabled Sports (DBS) in the Nordic region. On Tuesday we continue with biathlon. Eskau, Anja Wicker, Martin Fleig, Clara Klug and Co. forgetting the “zero round” of Saturday’s prelude.
