Ski alpin: Third place in Super-G: Dreßen again on the podium

Shooting star Thomas Dreßen finished the best season of his career so far with another podium finish. The 24-year-old from Mittenwald finished third in the World Cup finale in Are/Sweden, finishing third in the Super-G and for the first time in the second fastest alpine discipline. Dreßen missed his third win of the season by only 0.08 seconds.

Second place behind Kriechmayr went to Christof Innerhofer (+0.04) from South Tyrol, Dreßen shared third place with downhill Olympic champion Aksel Lund Svindal (Norway). The small crystal ball for the season’s best in the Super-G was already secured by the Norwegian Kjetil Jansrud before the last race, who finished sixth.
