In Indian Wells, the tennis ladies show what they can do in football. Simona Halep managed a very special trick here.

The tennis player himself is usually quite good at it with his foot – many claim that Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal could have had an impressive career on the green lawn (which is not Wimbledon).

The ladies don’t have to hide either, at least not Simona Halep, Kristina Mladenovic and Jelena Ostapenko. On the meadow next to the training grounds in Indian Wells they are playing hard – and above all Halep showed what she can do with her foot.

Halep’s father used to play for FC Farul Constanta, their role model is Gheorghe Hagi. Kiki Mladenovic’s brother Luka is currently engaged as a professional football player, and Ostapenko also has football in his blood: Papa Jevgēnijs Ostapenko once played for the Ukrainian club FK Metalurh Saporischschja.
