The quarterback is expected to take the backup position behind Ryan Tannehill, who returns after his cruciate ligament rupture.

Osweiler has a true odyssey behind it. After four years of backing up Peyton Manning to the Denver Broncos, he joined the Houston Texans in 2016 for $72 million.

There, however, the 27-year-old could not convince and was traded to the Cleveland Browns. Osweiler never got a chance here, so he returned to Denver. So now he gets his next chance in Miami.
