Former Wimbledon finalist Sabine Lisicki remains unlucky. The 28-year-old announced on Tuesday on her Instagram Channel that she will have to take another break for several weeks due to a foot injury.

Lisicki had suffered the injury at the WTA tournament in Miami in the German qualifying duel with Andrea Petkovic (Darmstadt).

Only at the end of January had the Berliner returned to the tour after a successful knee operation. In 2017 she had also had to suspend several months due to injuries to her leg and shoulder. In the world rankings, the former number twelve has now slipped down to position 158.
