ITF Round Up: Next victory for Daniel Brands in Djerba

Daniel Brands has won the second title in a row at the $15,000 Future in Djerba/Tunisia.

The top seeded Deggendorf player won the final 7:6 (1), 6:1 over the Frenchman Baptiste Crepatte and thus won his sixth individual title on future level. The 30-year-old had already won the previous week in Djerba.

Rudi Molleker made it to the final in Antalya/Turkey (15,000 US dollars). In the round of 16, the 17-year-old defeated Ivan Nedelko, who was seeded to two, in three rounds, and in the semi-final he defeated compatriot Paul Wörner. In the final the top seeded Croat Nino Serdarusic was too strong, he won 7:5, 6:2 and thus prevented Molleker’s first tournament victory on the ITF Pro Circuit.
