ATP: Munich: Jan-Lennard Struff and Tim Pütz fail in double semi-final

Jan-Lennard Struff (Warstein) and Tim Pütz (Frankfurt) have failed at the ATP tournament in Munich in the semi-finals of the doubles competition.

The German Davis Cup duo lost to Ivan Dodig/Rajeev Ram (Croatia/USA/No. 2) on the Centre Court in 57 minutes 1:6, 3:6. 7,740 euros of joint prize money will comfort the seeded Jan-Lennard Struff and Tim Pütz Struff.

Dodig/Ram will meet Nikola Mektic/Alexander Peya (Croatia/Austria), seeded third, in the final of the BMW Open on Sunday (11.00 a.m.).
