Serena Williams attaches great importance to fashion and her outfits off the pitch. Now the former world number one appeared at the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in a great dress – and sneaker.
The royal wedding in Windsor was attended by Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle and many celebrities. David Beckham, George Clooney and a number of Hollywood stars honoured the bridal couple and took part in the ceremony in Windsor.
With such a casserole, of course, Serena Williams must not be missing. The 36-year-old appears with her husband Alexis Ohanian and enchants her fans in a pastel-coloured dress. She wore her little daughter Olympia in her arms and shone into the cameras.
Under her party dress, which was used after the wedding ceremony, the 23-time Grand Slam winner had a surprise in store.
Instead of pompous high heels the US-American wore sneakers and celebrated herself for it. On her Instagram account Williams posted some pictures and a video showing her with the casual street shoes.
“I love wearing sneakers under my clothes,” admitted Williams, admitting that it wasn’t the only time.
