French Open: Day 2: Nadal, Thiem and Kohlschreiber start into the tournament

On the second day of the French Open 2018 (Monday, from 12.30 pm in the LIVETICKER) in Paris, defending champion Rafael Nadal, the number one in the world rankings, will start into the tournament. The Spaniard will face Simone Bolelli of Italy in his opening match. After his tournament victory in Lyon, the Austrian Dominic Thiem also intervenes in the action, as does the German Philipp Kohlschreiber.

Three Germans will start into the women’s tournament: Andrea Petkovic, Tatjana Maria and Laura Siegemund. On the first day of the French Open 2018 there were already some surprises, including the failure of defending champion Yelena Ostapenko.
