NBA: Cavaliers: Lue wants to give Hood a chance

Tyronn Lue, head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers, announced before game 3 of the finals that he would change his rotation. This is how Rodney Hood is to get a chance for more playing time.

Lue explained this at a press conference. “We’ll give Rodney a chance to see how he does. He works hard and is ready.”

The Shooting Guard was last used for the Cavs only in garbage time, which has caused irritation for quite some time, especially since Hood was still a starter in the first playoff game against the Indiana Pacers.

Hood said he was standing by on Tuesday. “If I get the chance, I’ll go out there and play hard and have fun.”

Hood had been taken by the Utah Jazz by trade in February and since then has shown light and shadow in the new jersey. In the Regular Season he still managed an average of 10.8 points for Cleveland. His contract expires this summer.
