NBA: Interview with Nick Young: “Want to close the sack in Cleveland”

The Golden State Warriors face their third title in four years. Nick Young was not in the first two triumphs. All the more reason for the forward to look forward to possible success in an interview with SPOX and DAZN. Swaggy P explains that this is an absolute priority for the Dubs.game 4 of the series takes place on Saturday night at 3am (live on DAZN) in Cleveland.

SPOX/DAZN: Mr. Young, you’re about to win the championship after your third win in the third game. That must have felt good for you when you got up?

Nick Young: Absolutely. I can’t really describe it, but it definitely feels good. I don’t want to shout anything. We have another game to win, but I feel good.

SPOX/DAZN: Can you describe the atmosphere in Game 3 in Cleveland a little?

Young: It was crazy, just as we expected. The spectators were in the thick of it and went with them. Luckily we had KD, who got us the victory.

SPOX/DAZN: What did you think the moment LeBron put Alley Oop on the board himself?

Young: Man, that’s just LeBron, you can’t really stop that. But it feels good to win here after we were two quarters behind and then decided it in the last five minutes.

SPOX/DAZN: Why did your team fall behind? What did the Cavs do right?

Young: They just played good basketball. Her role-players like Rodney Hood, who hadn’t played before, were better. But we had KD on our team.

SPOX/DAZN: Isn’t that reassuring? Stephen Curry had something like an off-night in game 3, but with Durant in the squad you can’t feel like losing.

Young: Yes, with players like KD, Steph, Klay[Thompson], Draymond[Green], even Iguodala we are a great team. That makes it difficult for any opponent.

SPOX/DAZN: How about you sweep the Cavs in their own arena?

Young: Of course that would be fantastic. I want to celebrate this title, close the sack so that we can have a good time afterwards. This whole year I got to be part of this great team, that’s great.

SPOX/DAZN: What are the keys to Game 4?

Young: Just don’t lose (laughs). Seriously: Steph needs one of his Steph evenings and we have to be concentrated. There’s not much you can do against LeBron, but Kevin Loves or J.R. Smiths can’t overheat.
