Wimbledon: Women’s semi-finals: Will the German final be held?

Will the dream of the German Wimbledon Final come true? Angelique Kerber and Julia Görges are fighting for the final. Kerber has to deal with Jelena Ostapenko (2 pm in the LIVETICKER), Görges meets the American Serena Williams (3.30 pm in the LIVETICKER) in her first Grand Slam semi-final.

Hopes for a German final in Wimbledon are rising. “It would be madness if that happened. Personally, I couldn’t look and would probably get goose bumps nonstop. It would be a huge opportunity for both of them,” said Barbara Rittner, Head of Womens’ Tennis at DTB, in an interview with tennisnet.
