MLB: After injury: Japan-Star starts litter program

Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Angels has received the green light from the doctors to start throwing again after his ligament injury in the elbow. This was the result of a new investigation by the Japanese.

The Angels stated in a statement on Thursday that the sideband of the right-handed person “continues to show an improved healing process”.

Ohtani received both stem cells and platelet-rich plasma injected on June 7. Less than a month later he was back in the lineup as a designated hitter and has since been 6-24 with a home run.

However, the Angels did not say when Ohtani would actually return to the mound if his healing process continued to be positive.

Otherwise, there is still a Tommy John Surgery in the room, which would certainly prevent Ohtani from pitching before 2020. However, this is an option that the Angels have so far publicly rejected. “Nobody mentioned the word’operation’ to me,” General Manager Billy Eppler told ESPN in June. “So I won’t think about it until a qualified doctor tells me to think about it,” continued Eppler back then.
