WTA: Karolina Pliskova has dared

Karolina Pliskova will now play her matches as a married woman on the WTA tour. The ten-time tournament winner announced her wedding ceremony via Instagram.

Karolina Pliskova created facts before the North American hard court series – before the registry office. The 2016 US Open finalist announced via Instagram that she had given her fiancé Michal Hrdlicka the word of consent.

Pliskova and Hrdlicka got engaged almost exactly one year ago, when Pliskova had also taken over the top of the WTA world rankings for a short time.

Karolina Pliskova is currently ranked ninth in the WTA charts, her greatest success in 2018 came with her triumph at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart. The 26-year-old Czech lost to Kiki Bertens in the round of 16 in Wimbledon.
