The number 1 seeded Matthias Wolf entered the final of his home tournament at Flötzersteig on Monday afternoon with two victories within a few hours. The 30-year-old runner-up in the rankings first won the quarter-final match at his home club’s centre court against Peter Rathammer, which was abandoned the evening before, 6:1, 4:6, 6:4, before defeating the Lower Austrian surprise man and Schneider defeater Martin Mayrl of UTC Mistelbach in two sets with 6:1 .7:6.
