Jo-Wilfried Tsonga married his long-time partner Noura El Swekh last Saturday. Since 2014 the two are a couple, in March of last year their son Sugar was born.

The ceremony took place at the Chateau de Bagnols, a 13th century castle in Rhone. Among the guests was Tsonga’s colleague from the French Davis Cup team, Pierre-Hugues Herbert, together with his friend Julia Lang.

Tsonga hasn’t played a match on the ATP tour since February. “I’m working hard on my comeback, and I’m better and better. I’m painless now,” said the 33-year-old. In April he had to undergo surgery on his left knee.

“I spent a lot of time with my family and friends. My batteries are recharged and I hope to get fit for the US Open (August 27 to September 9),” Tsonga said.
