ATP: Struff reaches second round in Winston-Salem

Jan-Lennard Struff (Warstein) has entered the second round of the ATP tournament in Winston-Salem/North Carolina. The 28-year-old defeated the Frenchman Benoit Paire in 70 minutes 7:6 (7:5), 6:3 and now meets Marco Cecchinato (Italy/No. 4) on Monday.

From a German perspective, Peter Gojowczyk is still at the start of the event, which is endowed with 778,070 dollars. The Munich seeded in position 16 has a walk-through in the first round and will face the winner of the duel between qualifier Horacio Zeballos (Argentina) and Lukas Lacko (Slovakia) in his opening match.
