Service: comeon! match of the day: Roger Federer to start against Yoshihito Nishioka

Roger Federer starts the US Open as number two in the seed list and starts with the Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka. Will the “Maestro” have to fight with starting difficulties or will it become a clear matter for the Swiss? The “Match of the day” is presented by betting provider comeon!

“I’m unlucky with the draw, but it’s also great to play Roger,” said Yoshihito Nishioka, explaining his upcoming encounter with Roger Federer at the US Open.

Indeed, there could have been a more pleasant draw for the Japanese to start into the last major of the year. On the other hand, it will be a good test for the world rankings runner-up. Federer does not travel to New York this year as a top favourite and can play free. The focus is clearly on Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.

Against Nishioka, Federer will have to minimize the number of mistakes he made in previous tournaments. The Swiss could only fully rely on the serve. However, this will not be enough against world-class players. Against Nishioka Federer can test, get used to the place and will not be punished for mistakes.

The betting provider comeon! is also convinced that Federer will survive the first round without much effort and that Nishioka is no obstacle. At the beginning of his hunt for the sixth title Federer gets a quota of 1.008 and is therefore the favourite.

Comeon! spends 13.75 for Nishioka and gives the Japanese player the underdog role. You still think the outsider has a chance at the big score? Then place your bets for the match here!

comeon! offers besides betting on the match also bets on e.g. the exact set result, O/U games, the number of tiebreaks and much more. For all newcomers there is a welcome deal with free credit (information in the link).
