US Open: Women’s final between Serena Williams and Osaka live today

The women’s final at the US Open is scheduled for today, Saturday. 23-time Grand Slam winner Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka meet at Arthur Ashe Stadium. Here you can find out where you can watch the game live on TV and where you can get live tickers and live streams.

In the night from Thursday to Friday the women played their semi-finals at the US Open. Serena Williams beat Anastasija Sevastova 6:3 and 6:0, Naomi Osaka beat Madison Keys 6:2 and 6:4 and today at 22:00 CEST the final between the American and the Japanese will take place.

Due to the time difference to New York, the women’s final between Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka starts at 10 pm German time. It is the only match of the day and will be played on the biggest court in Flushing Meadows, Arthur Ashe Stadium.

All broadcasting rights for the US Open are held by Eurosport. The private broadcaster will start broadcasting at 10 p.m. on Eurosport1. Matthias Stach will comment together with expert Boris Becker. Birgit Nössing will conduct the interviews after the match.

Serena Williams has already won 23 Grand Slam titles in her career. This makes her the second most successful tennis player in history. Only the Australian Margret Court is ahead of the American with 24 major titles. With her 7th victory in the US Open Williams could equal the score and finally become the best tennis player of all times.

This year the highest prize money of all time will be distributed at the US Open. Compared to 2013, the increase is now 57 percent, even in the previous year the players cashed five percent less.
