Davis Cup: Also a party for double fans

On the forthcoming Davis Cup weekend, the men’s absolute double world champion will also be in action.

If nothing is going on, then you can still stick to the doubles. In a week when some of them are licking the wounds they suffered at the US Open (except Novak Djokovic) and few others are preparing for the Davis Cup (except Rafael Nadal), the ATP has declared the “double week”.

Sock, on the other hand, is still looking for a reasonably respectable individual form. In doubles, on the other hand, things are going great for the man from Nebraska. Since his victory in New York City, Sock has been allowed to operate as the world’s number two, but looks up to his temporary double partner Mike Bryan.

And so the last Davis Cup autumn, which is to be measured by traditional standards, once again has a great double sport to offer. Especially as Oliver Marach will also be served a man from the top ten: John Peers. Maybe even at the side of the legendary Lleyton Hewitt.
