ATP: Out in St. Petersburg: Mikhail Youzhny has ended his career

Russian tennis pro Mikhail Youzhny ended his career on Thursday. The 36-year-old lost at the ATP tournament in St. Petersburg in the round of 16 against the Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut. Youzhny had already announced in July that he would hang up the bat after the tournament.

“My time is over,” said the previous world ranking night. Youzhny, currently number 110 in the ranking, has won ten titles on the ATP tour, winning a total of 499 matches. His last success so far came in 2012, when Youzhny reached the semi-finals twice (2006, 2010) at the US Open.
