On Tuesday, Ullrich is said to have “suddenly assaulted” a man in the security area of the Hanseatic city’s airport. A police spokesman confirmed this to SID. The injured party is 34 years old.
According to the newspaper Bild-Zeitung, Ullrich is said to have pressed his thumb on the larynx of a restaurant employee before his departure for the USA. The report was therefore only made when Ullrich had already taken off with the plane.
Ullrich had already been reported at the beginning of August for choking a prostitute in a luxury hotel in Frankfurt. Investigations into attempted manslaughter and assault are ongoing.
