ATP: Short and sweet: New Federer book available

“World sportsman. Ball lover. Wohltäter”: Fans of Roger Federer can once again strike at the book market!

Simon Graf of the Schweizer Tages-Anzeiger already knew Roger Federer as a teenager – and is now travelling the world with the 37-year-old as a newspaper reporter.

Graf has now launched a new Federer biography for the publisher kurz & bündig, which “explains the Federer phenomenon in 15 essays and is not a classic biography. There are a lot of things in it that you haven’t read yet,” Graf said in a conversation with 20min.ch. Graf had actually planned to write a book only after Federer’s career, “but he just keeps on playing”.

If you want to get a picture of the book: An excerpt from the chapter “Es muss Liebe sein” about Federer’s passion for tennis, the positive aspect of his injury-related time-out in 2016 and the freshness with which he once again surprised everyone in the following year, you can find it here!

If you want direct access or would like to give a Christmas treat to a Federer fan, the book is now available!
