NBA: “Unacceptable” – Towns Counts Wolves

The Minnesota Timberwolves are still in a bad mood. After the embarrassing defeat against Milwaukee Bucks, Karl-Anthony Towns counted on the team. The drama about Jimmy Butler is not an excuse for the center.

“We don’t have time to say it’s just the preseason,” Towns said after the 121-143 crash against the Bucks. “The momentum speaks completely against us. It’s anything but good.” The Wolves could only win one of their five games in the preseason and showed great inconsistency.

“You can lose sometimes, but you can’t be shown off. That’s absolutely unacceptable,” Towns raged on. Meanwhile, the Center didn’t want the drama about Jimmy Butler to be an excuse. “Jimmy has nothing to do with the intensity with which we play on the field. This whole situation will clear up sooner or later,” Towns was sure.

“Our job is to go out on the field and play the whole game hard and with passion.” According to Towns, the Wolves missed this too often in the preaseason.
