Service: The Babolat Pure Aero: Rafa Nadal’s newest weapon!

The latest generation of the legendary Babolat Aero racquet is out: the Babolat Pure Aero, developed together with world number one Rafael Nadal! All information and the tennis warehouse test report in the video – here with us!

To play once like Rafael Nadal – which tennis fan doesn’t dream of it? Well, for 17 Grand Slam victories there won’t be enough for us anymore, but from now on there are no more excuses for the topic material: Because from today there is the new Rafa racket in the shops!

Nadal without his yellow Babolat racquet is unthinkable anyway, but just as the game of the bull from Manacor has continued to evolve, so his racquet is always put to the test and improved.

Alex Israel of Babolat knows: “Playing with spin has become indispensable in tennis. But today’s topspin is of course no longer the same as before: “Originally a defensive tactic to fatigue the opponent, today’s topspin is an offensive weapon to gain an advantage for the next point. And with increasing playing speed, the players now expect higher precision,” says the tennis commissioner from Babolat.

To do justice to this, more than 3,500 testers were asked during the development of the new Pure Aero: “What are the most important advantages that a racket can offer? Of course the answers were “spin” and “punch”, but also “control” and “feeling”.

Babolat was looking for and found a new partner in space travel: Together with Chomart, they invented the Carbon Ply Stabilizer, a new generation of woven and sewn cabon fibers for high stability: This carbon is more rigid and warps less when meeting. The result: more control during the stroke.

Cortex Pure Feel, attached to the 3 and 9 o’clock positions, is designed to further improve aerodynamics and damping for more ball feel and control, and with proven FSI Spin technology, the open string pattern, guarantees ultimate spin. And of course thanks to the legendary Babolat woofer system, which ensures longer contact between ball and string. Longer ribbons on the spin eyelets should also provide a greater snapback effect.

The aerodynamic frame design, a hallmark of the Aero, has been further optimised by integrating headgear band and eyelets, Aeromodular3 reduces air resistance. Result: a faster movement of the racket head and therefore more speed and spin – for the inner Rafa in you!

Babolat optically focuses on “Taipan Yellow” – bright neon yellow, inspired by the highly poisonous Australian Taipan snake. So you can really bite on the court!
