ATP: Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic must give w.o. before the semifinals

No more finals for Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic for now. The Austrian-Croatian team were unable to reach the semi-finals against Marcel Granollers and Rajeev Ram in Paris-Bercy due to Pavic’s injury.

Yesterday, Marach and Pavic had made it clear that they were the number one doubles of 2018 with a hard-fought win against John Isner and Neal Skupski, but now they could not compete against Ram and Granollers due to the late retreat of the Croatian.

The second semi-final in Paris-Bercy will be played later in the afternoon by two seeded Americans Mike Bryan and Jack Sock against Jean-Julien Rojer and Horia Tecau.
