NBA: After Interview: Fine for Nuggets Center Jokic

Nikola Jokic was fined $25,000 by the NBA. The Denver Nuggets center got off to a bad start in an interview after its victory over the Chicago Bulls on October 31.

Jokic, who contributed to the surprisingly good start to the Denver Nuggets season with his strong performances, spoke after the overtime victory over opponent Wendell Carter Jr. using a gay-hostile expression.

The $25,000 fine was imposed by NBA Executive Vice President Kiki VanDeWeghe. Jokic has 17 points, 10 rebounds and 7.7 assists on average this season, his Denver Nuggets are second in the Western Conference with nine wins and one defeat.
