Unlike the big Grand Slam tournaments, it is not played in knockout mode from the start. Instead, there is first a group phase. The eight players were drawn in two groups in which they meet each other once. In the semifinals, the two best players in each group compete against each other, after which the tournament winner will be determined in the finals.
Kevin Anderson (1.95) – Dominic Thiem (1.85)
Roger Federer (1.28) – Kei Nishikori (3.75)
