Davis Cup: Croatia with Cilic and Coric in final against France

Croatia can count on its two top players Marin Cilic (World Ranking: 7th) and Borna Coric (12th) in the final of the Davis Cup in France.

Team boss Zeljko Krajan nominated the duo alongside substitute Ivan Dodig and the two doubles specialists Mate Pavic and Franko Skugor for the final match in Lille from 23 to 25 November.

Meanwhile, top player Richard Gasquet, number 26 in the world’s best ranked Frenchman, had cancelled his participation in the host country France without giving any reasons. Gael Monfils (No. 29) was also not nominated.

Instead, captain Yannick Noah will be relying on Lucas Pouille (32nd), Jeremy Chardy (42nd), the long injured Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (261st) and his top doubles Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert.
