WTA: Sabine Lisicki in the Taipei semi-final

Sabine Lisicki has reached the final round of the WTA tournament in Taipei.

At the 125k Series tournament, the Berlin player beat the local En-Shuo Liang 6-4, 6-0 and continues to head for a conciliatory end of the year.

Lisicki is currently only 262rd in the world, and persistent injury problems have always ruined a successful comeback.

In the semi-finals, the 2013 Wimbledon finalist will now face Russia’s Vitalia Diatchenko, who has been seeded six times. Bibiane Schoofs and Luksika Kumkhum will play the second match tomorrow, Saturday.
