Alpine skiing: Levi slalom: Shiffrin leads after 1st pass

Mikaela Shiffrin underlines her favourite position at the first slalom of the new World Cup season. The US-American leads the slalom in Levi after the 1st run ahead of Frida Hansdotter.

The Swede is only 14 hundredths behind Shiffrin, but third placed Petra Vlhova (SVK) is already 59 hundredths behind.

Fourth place went to Katharina Gallhuber (+0.63 sec.), Austria’s first woman on a podium place, Bernadette Schild, who is twelfth, is 1.43 seconds behind the leader. Katharina Huber (+1.47) is 13th, Katharina Liensberger (+1.55) is 15th, Katharina Truppe (+2.07) 23rd.
