NBA: Rockets fired House – for Trade?

The Houston Rockets have released Danuel House somewhat surprisingly. The Texans have a free rosterspot and could soon start another deal.

The Rockets announced the release of House via press release. House was on average 21 minutes on the field for the Rockets in the past five games, in which 8.4 points were played and 39.4 percent were thrown out of the field.

This also earned the forward great praise from coach Mike D’Antoni, who explained that House definitely belonged in the NBA.

Jonathan Figs of the Houston Chronicle now speculated that the Rockets are working on another deal this week due to the surprise dismissal. The reporter is said to have received this information from a Front Office employee.

From 15 December, players who have signed new contracts this summer, such as Trevor Ariza, who joined the Phoenix Suns after several successful years in Houston, can be traded.
