WTA Stuttgart: Another world class field at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix

The 42nd Porsche Tennis Grand Prix is once again attracting the best female players in the world to Stuttgart: numerous top stars have already registered for the traditional tournament from 20 to 28 April 2019 in the Porsche Arena.

Among them will be Simona Halep (Romania), the French Open winner and current number one in the world rankings.

Elina Svitolina (Ukraine), the winner of the WTA Finals in Singapore, will serve in Stuttgart as will world runner-up Angelique Kerber (Germany). The Porsche brand ambassador won the tournament in 2015 and 2016 and this season has fulfilled her dream of winning the Wimbledon.

The top 10 in the world rankings will also include defending champion Karolina Pliskova (Czech Republic), her team mate and two-time Wimbledon winner Petra Kvitova and Daria Kasatkina (Russia), one of the 2018 promoted women.

In addition, the former Stuttgart winners Julia Go?rges (Germany/2011) and Maria Sharapova (Russia/2012, 2013, 2014) are again expected.

“The fact that we can already present the tennis fans with a field of six top 10 players makes us proud and shows how happy the top stars are to join us in the Porsche Arena,” says tournament director Markus Gu?nthardt.

“The number 1 in the world and the winner of the WTA Finals, plus the winners of the Grand Slam tournaments in Paris and Wimbledon – it couldn’t be better. This great encouragement from the players shows that we are on the right track with the overall package. I’m happy for our viewers.”

Anyone who buys their desired tickets for the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix 2019 as part of the Christmas campaign from 6 to 24 December can secure an attractive gift: The first 444 customers receive the book “40:LOVE” as an encore, which tells the brilliant story of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix.

On 640 pages there are special photos and amusing anecdotes about such great players as Tracy Austin, Martina Navratilova and Steffi Graf. Tickets are available from the Easy Ticket Service at +49 711 2 55 55 55 or on the Internet at www.easyticket.de
