Caroline Garcia is primarily a tennis player. The number 19 in the world will, however, dedicate itself to a new task in the coming year and will be part of the jury for the Miss France election.
Seven French women will again decide the fate of many ambitious women in 2019. One of them will be tennis star Caroline Gracia, who will be part of the jury for the “Miss France” election.
In addition to the 25-year-old, the seven-member jury will include Line Renaud, singer Jenifer, dancer Alice Renavand, journalist Laury Thilleman and actresses Claudia Tagbo and Maud Baecker. In sports, Garcia is supported by Annabelle Varane, sister of Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane.
Away from the square, Garcia cuts a fine figure on the red carpets of the world and likes to be seen at events in a flurry of flashlights. On the pitch, France’s number one was rather modest.
After their big breakthrough last year in 2017 and their participation in the WTA finals in Singapore, the 2018 season was not marked by great success for Garcia.
Especially at the beginning of the year, the strong serve lagged behind expectations and suffered painful defeats in the first half of the hard court season. During the sand season the 25-year-old returned to her old form for a short time and achieved good results.
Garcia had no chance on grass before she celebrated her only title in 2018 at the end of the year in Tianjin. At the end of the year, the French rider will be ranked 19th, having already ranked fourth in the world rankings in September 2017.
