“Cool experience”: Wagner raves about the All-Star Weekend

Despite the defeat of his team, German national basketball player Moritz Wagner enjoyed the duel between the best young professionals from the USA and the rest of the world.

The 22-year-old NBA professional from the Washington Wizards lost 131-151 to Team USA in Chicago.

“It’s kind of crazy,” Wagner said to “Spox” and “DAZN” at the start of the all-star weekend. “You see a lot of people here again, spend time with other good players, and I hope you learn something, too. It’s a cool experience.”

Wagner scored 16 points and four rebounds in the duel between the Rising Stars, players who have only been in the NBA for one or two years. It was only at the beginning of February that the former Berliner made his comeback for the Wizards in the North American professional league NBA after an injury break of almost two months.
