The city of Philadelphia is banning the admission of fans at least until the end of the year. Affected are the Eagles from the NFL, the 76ers from the NBA, the Flyers from the NHL, the Phillies from the MLB and Philadelphia Union from the MLS. The decision was made regardless of how the respective leagues handle the issue.

“I do think games can be played with the precautions planned, but I don’t think there can be spectators. There’s no way that crowds could be safe,” Thomas Farley, the city’s health official, told the Philadelphia Inquirer.
