Will a Federer/Nadal double premiere on Grand Slam level soon be scheduled?We’ll be rivals for the rest of our lives as long as we’re active,”Federer explained,” After this match we’ll be opponents again, thank goodness or unfortunately, however you want to see it.But that was something very special.It was a great pleasure to share the place with Rafa.Knowing that you can rely on him at crucial moments, seeing how he makes decisions, experiencing his thought process, that was very interesting.I’ll take these memories with me for the rest of my life, that’s for sure.”
Neither do they see a future in the joint doubles after the end of their individual careers – “Not a good idea”, as Federer and Nadal unanimously stated in the joint press conference.
