NFL: Cleveland Browns secure Jarvis Landry via trade

The Cleveland Browns have secured the services of Wide Receiver Jarvis Landry according to US media reports. The 25-year-old therefore comes via trade from the Miami Dolphins.

The Dolphins had secured Landry’s services for another year by franchise day. In Cleveland, the slot receiver is now to sign a long-term contract extension and thus be permanently tied to the franchise.

Miami will receive Ian Rapoport from NFL Network in return for a draft pick in 2018 and 2019, according to NFL Network. Last season Landry had 112 Receptions (Career-High) for 987 Yards and 9 Touchdowns (Career-High).
