Jimmy Butler is said to have caused a sensation in his first training session with the Minnesota Timberwolves this season with his provocative behaviour, leaving the coach and teammates speechless.

According to an ESPN report by Adrian Wojnarowski, which is based on ligneous sources, Butler Head Coach Tom Thibodeau, General Manager Scott Layden and fellow players Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins are said to have verbally attacked Butler.

In one situation Butler is said to have addressed Layden loudly: “You need me. You can’t win without me.”

The four-time All-Star had called for a trade about three weeks ago, but the high demands of the Timberwolves may have deterred some teams that are basically interested in a trade for Butlers.

Last weekend a deal between the Wolves and the Miami Heat burst at the last second because Minnesota wanted to change the deal again. In addition to the Heat, Tilman Fertitta, owner of the Houston-Rockets, recently expressed his interest in Butler.
