Kei Nishikori (28) will replace the injured US Open finalist Juan Martin del Potro (30) from Argentina at the ATP finals in London (11 to 18 November).

For the 28-year-old Nishikori, it is the fourth participation in the season finale of the eight best professionals of a calendar year after 2014, 2015 and 2016.

Del Potro had broken his right kneecap at the Masters in Shanghai in mid-October and had to end the season early.
