Boxing: Fight on New Year’s Eve! Mayweather celebrates comeback

Boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather returns from retirement. The 41-year-old US player will play Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in Saitama near Tokyo on 31 December.

The battle record of the multiple world champion, who held titles in five weight classes with different federations, stands at 50:0.

“I want to give people what they want – blood, sweat and tears,” Mayweather said at a press conference in Tokyo. 20-year-old Nasukawa has never fought a boxing match before.
